Working Bees on Hold
In view of the increasing Government-mandated restrictions on social gatherings due to the COVID-19 crisis, Robyn and I have reviewed our proposal to continue with working bees in Shepherds Hill and decided that we should suspend activities until the crisis has abated. We recognise that during much of our work we are fairly widely spread out so that the danger of contracting or spreading the virus is low, but sharing vehicles to get to and from the worksite, gathering near the trailer while collecting tools and cleaning up, and morning tea time bring us all into closer contact and pose greater risk.
We'll keep the situation under review and resume activities as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. I hope you will all keep safe and well. (Alan, Secretary)
