December Working Bee

The next working bee in Shepherds Hill Recreation Park and the last for this year, will be on Saturday, 7 December. Meet in the Ayliffes Road car park at 8.50 am, or at the work site at 9.00 am.  Ann Prescott will be joining us to identify areas of grassland that would benefit most from management to suppress weed grasses and promote the native grasses and will need a small group (half a dozen or so) to assist her. Those who are not involved in that work will continue to work on woody weeds to the south of the Ridge Track. The trailer will be located to the south of the Ridge Track near the grove of sheoaks opposite the rocky outcrops.

Following the working bee, we'll have our Christmas lunch.  (Separate email sent with the details.)

Finally, don't forget the Blackwood Christmas Pageant on Friday, 6 December, which gets under way at 6.30 pm.

And, if we don't catch up with you beforehand, "Season's Greetings to you and yours"!

Ahh - the weather.....March Working Bee deferred

The next working bee in Shepherds Hill Recreation Park was scheduled for Saturday, 2 March, but the forecast maximum temperature of 40oC is far too high for a working bee on that day. The working bee has therefore been postponed to the following Saturday, 9 March.
