June Working Bee
The next working bee in Shepherds Hill Recreation Park will be on Saturday, 4 June.
With the good recent rain, we will make a start on our tree planting for the year with about 120 trees to plant near Walkers Creek in Zone 4. This area is difficult to access because of the steep descent to the work area. The plan is to meet at the park gate on Hillcrest Drive and we will walk in with our morning tea.
Ron will bring the trees, guards, stakes and tools in through the park in a 4-wheel drive and meet near the creek line at the bottom of the hill.
Please note that the descent from Hillcrest Drive and particularly the climb back up, are quite challenging, so you will need to be reasonably fit to participate in this activity.
